The Flying W Wranglers

"The Flying W Wranglers have been performing music for over 63 years, making them the second oldest Western Music group in the world.  As you ride along with the Wranglers, you will experience the classic country, western swing and gospel music that we all grew up on, along with a bit of Cowboy wit. During their decades of playing, they have performed at some of the premier venues around the country including Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry. Today they continue to be one of the premier Western Music groups west of the Mississippi and are riding down the trail with their saddlebags full of great songs from the American West.   With their unique western harmonies, fantastic yodeling, and superb instrumentation, the Flying W Wranglers are proving that the best is yet to come!"

Jake Gill

"Growing up in Kansas, Jake Gill has fond memories of spending time with his grandfather on the family farm. Listening to music was a huge part of that upbringing – particularly on 1070 AM, the legendary frequency of radio powerhouse KFDI.

“My grandpa was the one that really exposed me to country music,” Gill recalls. “I remember when I was a sixth grader, and he would let me drive the tractor around the farm. We’d hear all the old-time greats like Hank and Willie.”

...Make no mistake about it, Jake Gill is doing what he is meant to do, and he’s going to take it as far as he can. “People tell me sometimes that I must be running with the angels, because everything seems to just work out. A lot of that is true. I think I am doing what God wants me to do. I also know that I work really hard. I’m a believer in hard work. I think it pays off.”

Charlie Searle

& The Ashtonz

Oklahoma native Charlie Searle grew up in Evergreen, Colorado, where he formed the Ashtōnz, a "studio"-only band, with co-Evergreeners and brothers Neil and Scott Bremner. In 1985, Searle was hired by the late James T. "Happy" Shahan to join the summer music/gunfight program at Alamo Village in Brackettville, Texas.

Returning to Colorado, the Ashtōnz reunited and within months began landing gigs in Colorado Springs, Monument and Palmer Lake, Colorado, including barn-bashes at Searle Ranch attended by over 150 friends, associates and fans-in-training. Playing on a more or less monthly basis around Monument in 2014, the Ashtōnz' approach of "attitude over aptitude" and commitment to having fun (and to not taking themselves too freakin' seriously) has gained the band a faithful following of amusement-seekers in the area.

Primary influences include the Kinks, Gram Parsons/Flying Burrito Brothers, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, U2, Alex Chilton/Big Star, Jerry Jeff Walker, Paul Simon, Joe Ely, Richard Thompson/Fairport Convention, Neil Young and "the essentials" (Beatles, The Who, Dylan, Stones, Led Zeppelin, Doors, Creedence Clearwater Revival) and, going waaaay back, the late John Denver.
